ABC Coffee Shop

In 1999 the vision of the Adel Congregation was to take the Church out into the community. So the idea of starting a Coffee Shop in the Holt Park Shopping centre was decided upon and in November 1999 we opened. 

The shop is open 5days a week Monday – Thursday 10am – 4pm and Fridays 10am-2.30pm.   We serve a range of hot and cold snacks, home made cakes and a selection of Fair Trade items including all our coffee and tea. 

The shop has now become a meeting point in the community and over the years we have had Alpha Courses which have led to a regular group meeting on a Monday at 4.30pm.  We have a time for prayer in the Upper Room on a Thursday at 11am. All these activities are open to anyone who wishes to drop in.  There is also a fortnightly craft class on a Wednesday afternoon.  

The shop is staffed entirely by volunteers with members of the Ministry Team helping on a Thursday.
