Vision

Contact

At South Parade, we firmly believe that children are as much part of the church as adults. Though their needs are different and ever-changing, it is equally important that they are met. Therefore, we are committed to doing whatever we can to encourage and help children to grow up as equal members within the Body of Christ - the church.

All groups meet "to enjoy ourselves, to work together, to develop good relationships, to be active, interactive and creative, to be responsible for those around us in a safe and caring Christian environment," and are run by members of the congregation.

  VISION

Through South Parade's Children s Work, we aim:

- To take account of and minister to the needs of the whole person - intellectual, physical, spiritual and social. (See Luke 2:52).
- To be dedicated to be developing maturity in Christ in the lives of the children. (See Col 1:28).
- To encourage, empower and equip children to fulfil their God-given potential as human beings, both in the Church and in the world. (See Jer 29:11).
- For leaders and helpers to lead by example in their walk with God and life-style, and to follow Jesus example of servanthood and unconditional love. (See Phil 2:5).
- To take part fully in the whole Church's vision of Friendship Evangelism , encouraging and enabling our children to be witnesses to their many non-Christian friends.
- For leaders and helpers of all groups to work together as a team, each playing their part and working towards achieving the above goals. (See 1 Cor 12:12-16).
